About…Continued

It’s my belief that Jesus Christ’s teachings can be applied to ALL facets of our lives. Why?

Because all things belong to God.

The parables that Jesus taught are not superfluous poetic prose or mere suggestions; His Parables are an integral part of Who He Is, and are extraordinarily relevant!

Through His Grace I’m given the desire and ability to obey Him, love Him, and have gratitude for what He’s done and does for me. And as I work out my salvation; I fail. However, with His Grace and power from the Holy Spirit, what’s impossible naturally, becomes supernaturally possible.

God willing, you’ll find no -ists”, “-isms” or denominational labels here. I’m not judging those who choose “isms” and denominations though. This is just how God’s leading me.

Hopefully, this website serves as one small testimony to the One Who created the universe; the One Who sacrificed His Life as THE WAY to save souls from eternal darkness. He Loves us all so much.

From Genesis to Revelation, I believe that every word in the Bible is inspired by God’s Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is known as The Word of God made into flesh. Unlike all other gods, Jesus Christ not dead and buried. He is alive and on the right hand of The Father. God’s Word is Truly Living.

The Bible is as integral to a Christian’s walk, as water is to fish.

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17-18

Yes, men’s hands inscribed His Word; however they were divinely guided by God! Although I mostly study with the King James Version and Berean Study Version, I believe the Holy Spirit will speak to whomever; whenever and wherever He wants to speak!

God once spoke through a donkey after all…

God doesn’t call those who “have it all together.” Why not?

Because despite appearances, success, friends and Facebook likes, nobody has it all together.

He provides everything needed for those who answer His call.

He sacrificed His Life to save the fatally flawed.

I’m no authority, nor am I worthy of His Gift of Salvation. None of us are worthy and all of us are fatally flawed; but that’s something we all need to discover for ourselves.

God’s holiness is beyond comprehension. Pride keeps humans bound to the lie that we have to be our “best selves” in order to make it into God’s Kingdom. Pride is also at the root of the heretical teaching that God promises material wealth and superior health to those who follow Him.

Those who choose to read God’s Word and allow His Holy Spirit to guide them, will come to know the Truth that Jesus never promised material riches or perfect health. He promised tribulation, persecution and hatred from others. Jesus didn’t live in a mansion, drive a Lexus, nor did He wear designer clothing.

Jesus taught that in Him and His kingdom are where true riches are found. Not in this world.

Please understand, I’m not saying that material wealth, perfect health and worldly happiness is sinful; however, teaching others that God promised this stuff to His followers is.

The truth is: We need far less of ourselves and far more of God.

Physical potency, material wealth, worldly happiness and social popularity are not indications of godliness.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38

Loving God in such a way enables us to have love for others; even our enemies.

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” 1 John 4:20

Within this Love, the totality of God’s law and the prophets is contained. Scripture teaches us that God hates sin and those who follow Him should too. He is angry with the wicked daily, however He loves each and every one of us; even when we show Him dishonor through engaging in sin.

This steadfast Mercy, Longsuffering and Love cannot be understood with our worldly minds, because none of us (without God’s Holy Spirit), are capable of these things. However, we can get a tiny glimpse of God’s nature by understanding that God created us in His image.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:27

This is why He wants to free us from bondage to sin, so that we walk in His Life-giving Light; the only TRUE Light! Only True Faith in Jesus Christ can give you freedom, peace and salvation. No one works, talks or buys their way into heaven; you must Believe in Jesus Christ and be Born Again.

As believers, we all have unique experiences, gifts, insight and testimonies. Brethren, pay no heed to anyone who degrades your testimony of salvation into something false or mere “navel gazing.” We’re to carefully discern the fruit of others, but not to the extent of condemnation. Only God knows who are His and who are not His. Not all who are born again in Christ are instantaneously transformed. Sanctification is a process and most believers are in this process their entire lives. Even the Apostle Paul spoke about his struggles in the process of sanctification:

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philippians 3:12

As contained within the body of Christ, we all serve God differently, but as integral parts of the whole. Whether you serve as a strong arm or a little toe, God chose you for His specific purpose, and no personal testimony is more important than any other’s. Please read 1 Corinthians 12 for the Truth concerning this.

Some puzzle pieces in the Body of Christ are more irregularly shaped than others, but Jesus makes them fit nonetheless!

So, this is ultimately about victory in Jesus Christ through His Grace. And in order to have a victory, one must’ve battled, right? We may have some ugly war wounds, but that’s okay. As Christians, we are NOT defined or condemned by our scars! And as Christians, we’re called to offer this grace to others.

God has a divine purpose for our wounds. Through them, we can minister and relate to others better. Through our wounds, He gives us wisdom to guide; and even warn others.

Nobody is too far gone for the salvation and healing of God through His Son Jesus Christ. No matter what you’ve done, said or thought, it’s not too late to repent and ask Him to lead you to true freedom!

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

The Blood of Jesus miraculously washes clean, the dirtiest of lives. I know this, because I was filthy. But don’t trust me…

TRUST JESUS.

The Triumph of Faith

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we havea peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. – Romans 5:1-5
